This position involves developing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes, ensuring rapid delivery of high-quality applications. The engineer works collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, security specialists, and operations to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities, automating security controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. As a key contributor to the cloud transformation journey, the engineer will help optimize cloud environments, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall security posture of Regions’ digital assets.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A solid understanding of DevOps principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is essential. Candidates should have expertise in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of security frameworks, vulnerability management, and compliance standards (such as SOC, PCI DSS, or ISO) is required. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or CISSP.
