Speech-Language Pathologists who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and have experience in school settings will thrive as they support students’ communication development and collaborate with dedicated education professionals.What You’ll BringMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP-CCC credential Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adjust strategies to meet diverse student needs Vermont licensure (or eligibility to obtain) What To Expect In The RoleConduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students across grade levels Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to promote effective communication skills Maintain compliance with documentation, progress reports, and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student progress Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology This contract position allows you to engage with a collaborative school community and truly make a difference during the 2026-2027 academic year.
