Job description:Job Title: Warehouse CoordinatorJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Corpus Christi, TexasJob Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, and coordination of equipment, materials, and personnel to support field crews. This role ensures timely sourcing of parts, efficient workflow between departments, and operational readiness of tools, vehicles, and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Inventory & Warehouse ManagementMaintain and track inventory of tools, equipment, and suppliesConduct regular inventory counts and restock as neededKeep warehouse and shop areas organized, clean, and secureInspect returned equipment and vehicles for condition and readinessProcurement & Vendor ManagementSource and order parts, including hard-to-find or discontinued itemsObtain and evaluate vendor quotes based on cost, availability, and timelinesCreate and process purchase orders (POs) and related documentationCoordinate purchasing and payments with accountingManage vendor relationships, repairs, warranties, and service requestsOperations & CoordinationCreate and manage work orders for crews and equipment usageCoordinate scheduling for equipment delivery, repairs, and job site needsDispatch equipment, materials, and personnel as requiredArrange transportation of tools, bins, trailers, and construction equipmentRespond to urgent or emergency operational needsTeam & Cross-Functional SupportServe as a point of contact for field crews, mechanics, and internal staffCommunicate timelines for parts availability and job readinessAssist teams with tools, materials, and supply needsCoordinate with subcontractors using company equipmentAdministrative DutiesTrack parts requests, quotes, and purchasing activityMaintain records for inventory, purchases, and work ordersDistribute paperwork across departmentsHandle calls related to equipment, repairs, and operationsDaily OperationsOpen and prepare warehouse/shop for daily operationsCoordinate with mechanics on inspections and repairsVerify crew readiness, including equipment safety and PPE complianceClose and secure the warehouse at the end of the dayDecision-Making ResponsibilitiesSelect vendors for parts, repairs, and equipment servicingPrioritize purchasing and workflow based on urgencyCoordinate scheduling to minimize downtime and maintain productivityAllocate resources across multiple projects effectivelyQualificationsExperience in warehouse operations, logistics, or equipment coordination preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExperience with procurement and vendor managementEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with inventory systems and purchase order processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workdayWork EnvironmentWarehouse and shop environmentExposure to tools, machinery, and outdoor conditions as neededAdditional RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesBackground check may be requiredWork Location: In person
