Job Description Sr. Tech Lead - Application Development (Java) - Ready to lead transformative projects and build cutting-edge Java solutions in an AI-driven environment. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of Java-based applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Java development. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team. Act as a subject-matter expert on Java technologies and frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (or equivalent experience). Master's degree in Software Engineering preferred. Oracle Certified Java Associate certification or equivalent. Proficiency in Java, Java APIs, Java Web Applications, and Java Web Services. English language proficiency (C2 level). Location: New York area (LosAngeles, California based candidates are not eligible). Employment type: Regular (Hybrid – Day Shift). Remote: Yes. Annual base compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 USD. Total compensation will be determined by experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
