Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared Database Analyst joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO. Responsibilities Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems. Maintains database integrity and security, configures role-based access control (RBAC), and sets up administrative accounts. Sets up administrator and service accounts. Maintains documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Develops and implements testing strategies and documents results. Provides advice on performance tuning and training to end‐users. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Evaluates open‐source or vendor tools and participates in database migration/special modernization projects. Collaborts with developers on schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures. Plans and executes database upgrades, patching, and migrations. Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participates in on‐call rotations for after‐hours support. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training, or work experience. 5+ years of related database analysis and/or administration experience. PostgreSQL experience required. Oracle database administration a plus. CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended. Experience in PostgreSQL administration/tuning, including knowledge and implementation of database high‐availability solutions. Experience in monitoring, creating, and managing PostgreSQL server agent alerts. Experience with database backup, restore, migration, and snapshot technologies/strategies. Knowledge of building and maintaining efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data. Knowledge of Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning. Migration experience with Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance. Location On Customer Site – Arnold, MO / St. Louis, MO / Springfield, VA Salary & Benefits The likely salary range for this position is $125,800 - $170,200. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
