Shop Foreman | Cabinetry

We are seeking an experienced cabinet builder to join our client's team as a Shop Foreman. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cabinet shop, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of skilled craftsmen. Responsibilities Production Management: Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet deadlines. Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed. Ensure efficient use of materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Team Leadership: Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge. Resolve conflicts and address performance issues. Create a positive and productive work environment. Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Implement quality control measures to prevent defects. Identify and address any quality issues. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials. Track and reconcile inventory records. Equipment Maintenance: Schedule and oversee regular maintenance of shop equipment. Ensure equipment is in good working condition. Qualifications Proven experience as a cabinet builder or shop foreman. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials. Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
