CORPORATE - OPERATIONAL CONTROLLER – Greater Philadelphia, PA Highly Profitable Global Firm Is Prepared to Onboard a Controller - Overseeing Corporate & Operational Finance & Accounting Initiatives Organization-wide. Located Between Philadelphia & Trenton, the Incumbent Will Be Comfortable On the ‘Shop Floor’, & Skilled In Providing Financial Counsel To Executive Leadership In This High-Visibility Role. NOTE: Hybrid (1-day/wk remote) / Base Up To $170K + Bonus Target of 20% OVERVIEW:·  Lead & Finance & Accounting initiatives as a key Business Partner to the CFO, Operational & Corporate Personnel, & Executive Leadership·  Submit monthly financials to parent company: inventory reconciliation, WIP valuation, overhead absorption analysis, & intercompany eliminations; provide insight of product margins & variances ·  Manage cost system, periodic cost rolls, BOM & routing cost validation, & landed cost methodology; partner with operations to drive corrective actions & continuous improvement·  Automate & deploy KPI reporting & develop action plans to improve profitability·  Oversee financial integrity in accordance with GAAP; maintain robust internal control environment, ensuring audit readiness & reporting requirements·  Maintain all fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project (CIP) accounting. Ensure overhead rate inputs reflect current asset base and utilization.·  Monitor inventory accounting across sites - cycle count programs, reserve analysis for slow-moving/obsolete materials, scrap & yield accounting & WIP ·  Supervise & mentor 2 direct reports.PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:·  Solid Accounting/Operations Finance expertise, including controllership experience involving complex businesses & tax/legal entity structures ·  BA/BS in accounting, finance or related; CPA/CMA a plus but not required·  Hands on professional who demonstrates a willingness to dig into details to determine root cause(s) & countermeasures·  Superior collaboration & communication skills, & strong executive presence/composure·  Hands-on experience w/ a middle market stand-alone operating company or operating division of a midsize/large manufacturing organization·  Experience partnering with senior operations &/or P&L leadership to drive optimal financial performance in manufacturing/fabrication operations
