Dietary Aide

1 Full Time Dietary Aide. The majority of shifts will be 11:00am-7:00pm. Must also be willing and able to work 6:30am-2:00pm as needed. The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dining functions to ensure residents’ dining needs are met in accordance with community policies, physician orders, resident care plans and appropriate regulations. Maintains excellent customer service and quality nutritional services. Assists in the delivery of meals to the residents in the dining room and/or their apartments. Takes residents’ orders at the table and ensures that their requests are fulfilled. Assists in daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, dishwashing, clearing tables and mopping. Demonstrates proper hand washing procedures. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly. High School Diploma or GED required. Selected candidate must pass a criminal history background check, fingerprinting and pre-employment physical and TB test.
