Lead Software Engineer (Java / BPM / Kafka) Location: Pittsburgh, Dallas, Columbus, Strongsville, Charlotte, Phoenix (Onsite) Role Description Seeking a Lead Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design and deliver enterprise applications. The role involves providing technical leadership, guiding development teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions. Job Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications while providing technical guidance to engineering teams. Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and business teams to define solutions and drive successful delivery. Drive technical design, code quality, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Primary Skills (Must Have) Skill Proficiency Expected Java & Spring Boot Advanced Strong experience building enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Business Process Management (BPM) Advanced Hands-on experience with BPM platforms such as Camunda, IBM BAW, Pega, or similar workflow automation tools. Apache Kafka Advanced Extensive experience designing event-driven architectures, messaging solutions, and Kafka-based integrations.
