At Cumberland Idealease, we're seeking a Mobile Technician to support lease and rental customers throughout the Orlando market while representing the Idealease brand with professionalism, consistency, and care.This role is designed for a technician who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, communicating with customers, and supporting a high-performing fleet maintenance operation. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and service support for commercial trucks while staying connected to the Orlando service team and Idealease standards.What You'll DoAs our Orlando Mobile Technician, you'll help keep customer fleets and rental units operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.Your key responsibilities include:Perform Preventive Maintenance - Complete PM services on medium- and heavy-duty trucks according to Idealease standards, customer requirements, and safety expectations.Diagnose & Repair Trucks - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, emissions, brake, suspension, and drivability concerns on Class 6-8 vehicles.Support Customer Fleets - Provide mobile service for assigned lease and rental customers throughout the Orlando area.Complete Inspections - Perform DOT inspections, safety checks, and follow-up repairs to keep units compliant and road-ready.Document Work Accurately - Record repair details, labor, parts used, inspection findings, and recommendations through company systems.Communicate Clearly - Keep the service team informed on job status, needed parts, customer concerns, and follow-up work.Coordinate Parts & Repairs - Work with the parts and service teams to obtain needed components, handle returns, and complete repairs efficiently.Maintain Service Vehicle & Tools - Keep the mobile service vehicle organized, stocked, clean, and ready for daily work.Protect the Customer Experience - Represent Cumberland Idealease professionally at every customer location through reliability, respect, and follow-through.Why Cumberland Idealease?Steady Work - Support a growing lease and rental fleet with consistent service needs.Strong Team Support - Work closely with the Orlando service operation, parts team, and Idealease leadership.Competitive Pay - Earn strong wages with additional performance and efficiency opportunities.Tool & Boot Allowance - Annual stipends to help keep you equipped with quality gear.Technology & Equipment - Use diagnostic tools, fleet systems, and service resources designed to support modern truck maintenance.Work-Life Balance - Sundays off for faith, family, and rest.Training & Development - Continue building your skills through vendor training, OEM programs, and certification opportunities.Career Growth - As the Orlando fleet grows, opportunities for responsibility and advancement can grow with it.What We're Looking For:3-5 years of experience maintaining Class 6-8 trucks or equivalent heavy-duty equipment.Ability to perform PMs, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs in a mobile service environment.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, emissions, and drivetrain systems.Customer-focused attitude with good communication and follow-through.Ability to manage daily work orders, document repairs, and communicate job status clearly.Experience using digital fleet or repair systems such as IBS, Decisiv, or similar platforms.Valid driver's license required.CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one.ASE or OEM certifications are a plus, or a willingness to pursue them.Keep Orlando Moving!!!This role is for a technician who takes pride in doing the job right: maintaining trucks, supporting customers, communicating clearly, and helping keep the Orlando fleet moving.
