Machine Operator/Assembler
Summary
Responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment related to the production of stators.
Major Responsibilities
Position requires heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time.
Records data and related paperwork for assigned area.
Responsible for observing all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety practices ensuring all machine guards and other safety equipment devices are in good working order before and during operation.
Ensure all personal protection equipment is always monitored and used.
Education
High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience and/or training
Experience
Must have a safety and quality mindset.
Experience with operation of forklift and overhead cranes.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
