Please contact Human Resources if you require an accommodation.BASIC FUNCTION:The intern will support the Entrepreneur Development team by assisting with data management, reporting, and communications related to the Entrepreneurship Assistance Centers (EAC) program. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience in public-sector program administration, data systems, and statewide small business support initiatives.WORK PERFORMED:The intern will assist with the following:Support maintenance and organization of the EAC database, including data validation and basic quality checksAssist with compiling data for EAC reports, dashboards, and internal tracking documentsSupport coordination with internal IT staff related to EAC database issues and enhancementsMaintain and update the EAC contact directory, including program managers and points of contact at each EAC organizationAssist with preparation of materials related to the EAC Annual ReportSupport communications related to the EAC program, including internal coordination and external information requests as appropriateProvide logistical and operational support for the EAC Annual Conference, including planning support and post-event documentationAssist with special projects and ad hoc data or reporting requests as neededLearning Objectives/Skills to be developed:Understanding of public-sector grant and technical assistance programsExperience working with program databases and reporting toolsExposure to data governance, data quality, and reporting workflowsProfessional communication skills in a government settingExperience supporting statewide convenings and stakeholder coordinationFamiliarity with economic development and small business support ecosystemsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education level required:Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in public administration, data analytics, economics, business administration, information systems, public policy, or a related field.Knowledge Required:Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with databases or reporting tools a plusAbility to analyze and organize data accuratelyClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environmentInterest in small business development, economic development, or public serviceHIRING SALARY: $17.00INQUIREJane Martinez - HR Trainer/Talent Acquisition SpecialistExternal Candidates: Please attach cover letter and resume.
