Job Description Identify and evaluate commercial construction bid opportunitiesVisit job sites to assess accessibility, underground conditions, and other site-specific challengesAttend pre-bid and post-bid meetingsPrepare labor and material take-offs by analyzing all drawings, plans and specificationsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotesReview contracts, request any necessary changes if necessary, and get them executedComplete all pre-construction requirementsNegotiate subcontracts and material supplier purchase ordersDevelop project schedules and ensure deadlines are metLead initial project planning and schedulingAid field operations with change order pricingMonitor budgets, costs, and progress throughout each projectPrepare monthly owner billings and monitor collectionsManage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completionCommunicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team membersEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality standardsTrack material and equipment inventoryPerform other estimating or project support duties as neededCompany DescriptionWe are a small, growing commercial construction company based in Balch Springs, Texas.
