In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing machine learning systems that power our platform’s core functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize machine learning models that improve user experience, content relevance, and platform capabilities. Your contributions will directly impact the way millions of users interact with knowledge, enabling smarter, more personalized, and more engaging experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies, including large language models and real-time applications, within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with an expected graduation year of 2024 or 2025. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks. Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and data pipelines. Experience with deploying machine learning models in production environments and working with real-time data systems. Familiarity with API design, cloud services, and scalable architecture is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.Responsibilities Improve existing machine learning systems by applying your expertise to enhance performance, accuracy, and scalability. Identify new opportunities to incorporate machine learning into different components of the Poe platform, including chatbots, content moderation, and user personalization. Take end-to-end ownership of machine learning projects, from prototyping and data pipeline creation to model training and deployment at scale. Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement ML-driven features that add value to users. Develop and maintain APIs and abstractions that ensure the extensibility and maintainability of machine learning systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, integrating new techniques and models to keep Poe at the forefront of innovation.
