Why is this Role Essential?Concerto is seeking a Regional Manager to join its team! The Regional Manager oversees multiple locations and all direct reports (Charge Nurses, Dialysis Technicians, and Dialysis Assistants) in the subacute dialysis setting. Reports to the Regional Vice President and is accountable for customer service, staffing, operations within budgetary constraint, regulatory compliance and CRS policies and procedures in accordance with Concerto's policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set for by state and federal agencies.What Will You Do? FINANCIAL:Accountability for cost efficient operations in facilities/programsProvides input into the development of staffing and supply budgets including the monitoring, assessment, and adjustment due to census fluctuationsTrack compliance with financial goal related to hours and cost per treatmentAssures timely and accurate billing proceduresIdentifies opportunities and develops plan for revenue enhancement and growth of servicesSTAFFING & SUPERVISIONInterviewing, hiring and retention of appropriate staff to maintain proper staffing ratiosResponsible for coaching, training and overseeing performance of direct report staffProvide continuing education opportunities as needs identifiedConducts regular staff meetings to share information and concernsMaintain effective communication process with COOMaintain effective communication with all CRS employees including departments heads and support staffQUALITY:Promotes quality standards through utilization of KDOQ guidelines, ESRD, regulatory requirements and CRS professional standards of careAssurance of quality patient outcomes and professional standards of careProvides for periodic chart audit and data collection for analysis of quality indicatorsTrack and trend data to determine need for policy change and/or facility practicePrepares monthly QAPI data and summary and presents at monthly Corporate QAPI to Medical Director and ensures implementation of action plansPrepares weekly report of unit activities and reports at Management MeetingREGULATORY & SAFETY:Conducts monthly documentation auditsConducts monthly facility auditsFollows up on Adverse Occurrence reports and conducts Root Cause Analysis as neededOngoing maintenance and development of policies and procedures that reflect practice and assure safety and regulatory complianceReports and follows up on equipment repairsEnsure timely and appropriate action to state survey recommendationsCUSTOMER RELATIONS:Provides for and maintains patient, staff, and facility confidentialityServes as a patient advocateSupports and participates in customer relations and marketing effortsFacilitates collaborative working relationshipsPromotes positive customer service strategies with staffProvides excellent customer service as it applies to all external and internal customers including patients, families, nursing home staff, CRS staff and physiciansTakes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely mannerYou Might Be a Good Fit If...LeadershipReliability Excellent CommunicationWhat's Required?Travel Required Registered Nurse or Healthcare related background requiredPrevious Management experience preferredUnderstanding of CMS regulationsBasic Use Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OutlookUnencumbered driver's licenseCPR certificationPhysical Requirements & Work Environment Must be able to do light lifting of at least 20 lbs. Requires mental, visual, and auditory attention to patients, customers, and staff. Work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious disease/materials.
