Hardware Installer Precision Sheet Metal FabricatorSAN MARCOS, CA May 25, 2026 Temporary/ContractDescriptionVolt takes great care of our great hiresVolt is immediately hiring for Hardware Installer/Sheet Metal Fabricator in San Marcos, Ca.As a Hardware Installer/Sheet Metal Fabricator you will:Perform all work in compliance with company safety and quality standards (IIPP and Quality Management System)Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine hardware type, quantity, and placementSelect and set up proper tooling for hardware installation machinesInstall and inspect first-piece parts to ensure proper setupInspect completed parts to verify all required hardware is installed correctlyComplete production traveler and related paperworkMaintain equipment, including routine calibration and upkeepThis is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience in a sheet metal fabrication environmentAbility to lift, carry, move up to 50 lbs regularlyStrong teamwork and communication skillsMust be able to read, write, and understand English to follow work instructions, safety requirements, and part drawings.Ability to read and interpret part drawingsGood vision (near, far, and peripheral; corrective lenses acceptable)Ability to hear and distinguish verbal and non-verbal communicationMaintain a clean and organized work areaMust follow all safety rules and wear required PPEMust be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent residentMust pass a drug test and background checkPay Rate: <$XX.XX - $XX.XX per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
