Data Centre EngineerLeading technology-driven trading firm looking for a Data Centre Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure within a highly uptime-sensitive environment.This role works closely with the network engineering team and focuses on data centre operations, infrastructure reliability, and continuous improvement projects supporting low-latency systems.What you’ll be doing• Supporting live production infrastructure across a high-availability environment• Performing rack audits, structured cabling, fibre/copper testing, patching, and hardware installs• Managing documentation, labelling, asset tracking, and infrastructure standards• Supporting network deployments, device configurations, and physical infrastructure changes• Working closely with network and systems engineering teams on troubleshooting and improvement projects• Assisting with scripting and automation tasks where possible• Maintaining high operational standards within a fast-paced, mission-critical environmentWhat they’re looking for• Experience working within a data centre, network infrastructure, or critical environment• Strong understanding of structured cabling, fibre/copper connectivity, and rack infrastructure• Comfortable working in Linux environments• Exposure to networking fundamentals and infrastructure troubleshooting• Python or Bash scripting experience is beneficial• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate within a process-driven environmentAdditional details• Fully onsite role, Tuesday - Saturday 11am-8pm• Strong compensation and benefits package• Opportunity to work within a technically advanced, performance-focused environment
