Construction Laborer Steel Building InstallationMK STEELBUILT is hiring construction laborers for a PEMB (Pre Engineered Metal Building) erection project in Somis, CA. This project consists of erecting two small red iron steel buildings, including setting columns, framing, and assisting with roof and wall framing and panel installation. Telehandlers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts will be used for material handling and access. Job Duties:Assist with erection of structural steel components Help set steel columns and framing per plans Bolt and secure steel members Assist with material handling and positioning of steel using lifts Use hand tools and basic power tools Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Follow site safety procedures and instructions Requirements:General construction or experience with PEMB or red iron buildings is a plus, but not required Comfortable working outdoors on commercial job sites Comfortable working from boom lifts and scissor lifts Ability to lift up to 5070 lbs Reliable transportation PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, work boots) Nice to Have (Not Required):Experience with red iron or pre-engineered metal buildings Experience working around telehandlers and aerial lifts Commercial construction experience Job Details:Location: Somis, CA Job Type: Temporary / Project-based Schedule: Day shift Start Date: TBD (anticipated end of JAN 2026) Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour SEAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of steel industry professionals.
