A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRegistered Nurse - PACU/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 4x10 day shifts with start times between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM/n• No weekend coverage required/n• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends/n• 24 hours of orientation provided/n• Float required to other CPMC campuses (MBC/Davies and VNC ACU) if census permits/n• Provide individualized nursing care using nursing process for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge/n• Work with daily census of 40-50 patients in 32-room unit/n• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics/n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS/n• California RN license required/n• 2 years PACU RN experience required, preferably in high acute care hospital with ICU experience/n• Extensive cardiac/cath lab holding room experience required/n• Epic charting system experience required/n• Travel experience required/n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing/n• 7-year work history verification required/n• Complete e-learning modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)/n/nFacility:/nThis major healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center campus featuring advanced perioperative services and post-anesthesia care units.
