Production Operator (Contact Assembly)As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in operating manufacturing equipment and supporting the production of high-quality components. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are interested in working in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment while learning machine operation, quality standards, and production processes. You'll be part of a collaborative, safety-focused production team responsible for running and supporting manufacturing equipment. The team values consistency, attention to detail, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a supportive, production-driven environment.Responsibilities include:Operate production and manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and process requirementsLoad materials, monitor machine performance, and make basic adjustments as requiredPerform repetitive production tasks with accuracy to meet quality and efficiency standardsConduct visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure product qualityUse basic tools, gauges, and measuring equipmentFollow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work areaSupport daily production goals by meeting output, quality, and efficiency expectationsQualifications include:High school diploma or GEDUp to one year of manufacturing, machine operation, or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to follow written and verbal work instructionsComfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periodsBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measuring devicesCommitment to safety, quality, and reliabilityPreferred qualifications include:Prior experience as a machine operator or production operator in a manufacturing environmentExperience working with automated or semi-automated equipmentFamiliarity with gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to recognize quality issuesWillingness to learn new equipment, processes, and skillsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
