Perform any additional tasks as required.Position purpose: To provide excellent customer service to our customers.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)Greet and acknowledge every guestDemonstrate solid product knowledgeMaintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisementsDemonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers consistentlySuggest additional items to the customerAccurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers, including scanning or inputting barcodesRing each item on the correct keyMinimize cash discrepancies so they do not exceed +/- $5.00 per dayThank all customers at the end of each transactionHandle difficult/challenging situations with a high level of professionalismMeet or exceed Chevron's customer service standardsAssist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenanceStock the floor as neededComplete housekeeping tasks as neededAdhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss preventionThe responsibilities and duties are not limited to those mentioned above.Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)Have basic math skillsAble to follow verbal and written instructionsAble to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)Cash handling is required.
