Benefits And Human Resources Administrative Assistant The Pleasant Hill School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Benefits And Human Resources Administrative Assistant. Qualifications include an associate's degree and one year of experience or two to three years of job-related experience. The job is done for the purpose of providing excellent customer service to new and existing employees, support to the delivery of business services with specific responsibility for assisting with all aspects of employee benefits and benefit information; resolving insurance benefit, providing information to new and current employees, providers and/or administrators; ensuring employee proof of coverage and accurate billing; providing information to new and current employees regarding policies, regulations; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support; and assisting in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Business & Finance.Essential functions include assisting with employee benefit programs in compliance with carrier contracts, assisting personnel, beneficiaries and/or insurance providers, distributing documents, maintaining a variety of benefit information, participating in meetings and online training, preparing written materials, processing a variety of benefit information, reconciling enrollment forms and billings to employee records, resolving conflicts with benefit providers, supporting assigned administrators, administering a wide variety of personnel policies and programs, assisting with the onboarding of all new employees, coordinating with internal and external sources, developing a wide variety of written materials, maintaining manual and electronic documents, files and records, monitoring a variety of process reports, processing documents and materials, responding to written and verbal inquiries, serving as a liaison to committees and/or organizations, processing graduate hours and employee certifications, supporting the budget process in planning and predicting staffing for each fiscal year, and performing other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.Terms of employment include a 260 day calendar and compensation starting at $23.98/hour with consideration given to experience.
