Mechanical Engineering Technician II
Position : Mechanical Engineering Technician IILocation : San Diego, CADuration : 3 Months ContractTotal Hours/week : 40.001st shiftDescription:The Engineering Technician will perform the following duties: Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Products engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics) Help scope equipment for use and complete qualifications Assist Engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes Operate and maintain test equipment Use typical hand tools to build and set-up equipment using drawings and other documentation Use complex measurement equipment to collect and record data Execution of designed test protocol and conduct testing Works with team to organize lab functions & test equipment Notifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect project Effective documentation and communication of test results Other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Diploma / GED A combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 2 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
