Position Overview: As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic imaging department. Your responsibilities will include performing a range of radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of imaging quality. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays. Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety. Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor patients for any reactions. Review and analyze images to ensure they meet quality and diagnostic standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in patient care. Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey. Proven experience in conducting various radiographic exams. Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety practices, and patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
