Our team is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Job DescriptionSchedule: Full-Time and Part TimeSalary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 HourlyResponsibilities:Plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational activities for residents or program participantsMaintain a clean and well-organized activities area and vanEnsure all safety protocols are followed during activities Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive environmentKeep accurate records of activities attendance Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areasQualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic first aid and CPR certification preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesPhysical fitness to assist with activities and mobility supportAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededExperience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities (preferred)Knowledge of senior care or recreational activities (preferred)Patience, empathy, and a positive attitudeAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and communicationWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
