Technicians perform PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing in an efficient and effective manner, providing quality care to all patients. The Polysomnographic Technician demonstrates a willingness to assist others, work well with minimal supervision, and have strong, independent judgment. The Polysomnographic Technician uses department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care, and is accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.Job Responsibilities:-Disconnect patient from electrodes, assist them in any way needed, and complete appropriate paperwork.-Meets with and educates the patient about the sleep study, sleep apnea, CPAP titration, and reviews all paperwork.-Monitor patients during sleep study and responds accordingly following department policy and procedures.-Properly connects patient with appropriate electrodes to perform sleep study.-Administer CPAP/BiPAP therapy in a manner that follows department policy and procedures.Skills:Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of experience in sleep medicine setting.Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Schedule Notes:Shift: 6p-630aRequired: BLS, Epic experience, one of: RPGST or RST or SDS CertificationSchedule Notes:Shift: 6p-630aRequired: BLS, Epic experience, one of: RPGST or RST or SDS CertificationSoloh Partners Job ID #L32302772.
