Job Title: Cloud Migration Expert Microsoft AzureLocation: Remote / HybridDuration: Contract / Full-Time (Based on Requirement)Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Migration Expert (Microsoft Azure) with a strong background in healthcare, hospital, or laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration initiatives, modernizing on-premise healthcare systems to Azure while ensuring compliance, security, and minimal operational disruption. Will be responsible for building a roadmap with resources and timelines to execute on the selected plan. Also, will be responsible for the discovery report of as-is and to-be states.This role requires deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, healthcare data systems, and regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end migration of healthcare/lab systems from on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft AzureAssess existing infrastructure, applications, databases, and integration points to develop migration strategy and roadmapDesign and implement Azure cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) aligned with healthcare compliance standardsMigrate EHR/EMR, LIMS, PACS, and clinical data systems securely to AzureImplement Azure services including Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, AKS, and Azure NetworkingEnsure HIPAA-compliant architecture, encryption, identity management, and access controlsOptimize performance, cost, scalability, and high availability in Azure environmentsCollaborate with security, DevOps, infrastructure, and application teamsConduct risk assessments and mitigation planning during migrationSupport post-migration validation, performance tuning, and monitoringRequired Qualifications8-15 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Azure cloud environmentsProven experience leading cloud migration projects in Healthcare, Hospital, or Laboratory environmentsStrong hands-on expertise in:Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security)Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure BackupAzure Active Directory & RBACAzure DevOps / CI-CD pipelinesAzure SQL, Storage Accounts, Data Migration toolsExperience migrating clinical systems (EHR/EMR), LIMS, PACS, or healthcare applicationsStrong understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare compliance frameworksExperience with hybrid cloud architecture and disaster recovery strategiesKnowledge of HL7/FHIR integrations is a plusPreferred QualificationsAzure Solutions Architect Certification (AZ-305)Experience with containerization (Docker, AKS)Experience with data migration involving structured/unstructured healthcare dataFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, SOC2)Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skillsWhat We're Looking ForStrong problem-solving and migration strategy expertiseExperience handling sensitive healthcare/lab data environmentsAbility to work in regulated, mission-critical environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
