Senior Analyst
Role descriptionResponsibilities:Effectively interact with Business Analytics, Client Coverage and CRM & Sales Enablement teams to understand the business needs.Deliver business metrics and insights through reports, presentations & interactive dashboards to drive sales strategy.Work with large structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external data sources to incorporate into analytical tools and dashboards.Iterate independently on evaluating new data sources for generating actionable insights that can improve sales efficiency & effectiveness.Apply advanced analytical techniques to uncover patterns and insights into complex data sets.Manage the BI/Analytical tools lifecycle including delivery, training, user adoption as well as retiring old artifacts.Apply “scientific approach” in performing analysis of large volumes of data to answer key business questions.Collaborate with colleagues across the firm and ready to contribute to BI initiatives beyond sales organization.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Analytics or related field of study.6+ years’ hands-on experience in building BI and analytics tools within Financial Services / Asset Management.Strong analytical and technical skills; must be proficient in SQL, Alteryx and Tableau or comparable tools; experience with Python, R and utilizing statistical modules and machine learning algorithms would be helpful.Ability to deliver meaningful visualizations from complex data sets that are understandable by various levels within the firm.Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to explain technical ideas to business users.Attention to detail and business acumen essential.Team player with strong work ethic and focus on meeting deadlines & objectives.Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking.Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Other detailsSalary range $63000 to $134500
