Application Scientist: Image processing Location: Woburn, MA, U.S. Job description DigiM Solution LLC, a world leader in microscopic imaging, image analysis, and image-based modeling, is seeking to fill a few immediate openings of application scientists to help support our rapidly growing business. This position will be responsible for conducting image processing on a variety of different microscopy images in pharmaceutical and materials characterization applications. Minimal requirements critical to success: A bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, science or engineering. 1 year of hands-on experience in image processing and image segmentation (in school experience is acceptable). 1 year programming experience in solving data science problems via Python (preferred) or other scripting languages Effective time management and organization skills. Willing and attentive learner. Passionate about problem solving using data.
