Job Overview: The Medical Assistant/ CNA/ Pharmacy Technician/ EMT has the primary responsibility to perform, a variety of medical functions related to the health and welfare of the inmates. The following are educational and/or training requirements for this position: 1. Must be able to read and comprehend English language directives, training materials, and other documentation. 2. Must have one or more of the following certification: - Medical Assistant certificate thru ne of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing ( NCCT), or National Healthcare Association ( NHA), or Emergency Medical Technician certification and registration thru the Tennessee Board of Emergency Medical Services , or Certified Nursing Assistant certification and registration thru the Tennessee Nurse Aide Registry, or : - Emergency Medical Technician certification and registration through the Tennessee Board of Emergency Medical Services, or: - Nursing Assistant Certificated and registration through the Tennessee Nurse Aide Registry, or: - Pharmacy Technician certification credentials through; Pharmacy Technician Certification Board ( PTCB), or National Health career Association ( NHA) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $43,213.70 per year Work Location: In person
