Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary-aged students as a School Psychologist. In this contract position, you'll play a key part in fostering a positive school environment and contributing to student well-being and academic success. Collaborate closely with building teams and use your expertise to support a range of student needs from kindergarten through 5th grade. This assignment is scheduled to run from July 30th to June 2nd, requiring a 37.5-hour workweek on site.Key Qualifications:Valid certification/licensure as a School PsychologistExperience with kindergarten through 5th-grade populations preferredThorough understanding of IEP evaluations and development of service plansAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams (Student Intervention, Building Crisis)Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in the creation and monitoring of IEPs for studentsServe as an active member of the building's problem-solving and Student Intervention teamsParticipate in the Building Crisis Team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all studentsDeliver counseling, consultation, and intervention services as neededCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support strategiesThis is an onsite assignment for the duration listed, with the possibility of considering virtual options if unfilled.Take this opportunity to guide and support students' growth and make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting.
