If you have a passion for working with children and a solid understanding of track and field, this is a wonderful opportunity to inspire young athletes and help them develop basic skills in a supportive and energetic environment.Position OverviewAs a Track Nights Coach, you will lead track and field activities for children ages 3-8, focusing on the fundamentals of the sport while keeping the experience enjoyable and educational. You'll have the opportunity to teach, encourage, and create a positive environment where children can develop both physically and socially.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and coach youth participants in basic track and field activities.Emphasize fun, safety, and skill development for children ages 3-8.Create a positive, encouraging environment to help participants grow their confidence and skills.Organize activities, drills, and games that are age-appropriate and engaging.Provide feedback and guidance to participants in a positive and constructive manner.Work with other coaches to ensure smooth program delivery and coordination.Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.Communicate with parents and guardians as needed regarding participant progress.Work ScheduleThis position requires part-time availability during evenings and weekends, depending on the program schedule.Program DatesApril 7th-9th: 4:30pm-7:00pm.Minimum QualificationsAge Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills; a passion for working with children.Experience: Previous experience in coaching or working with youth is preferred.Knowledge: Basic knowledge of track and field activities and techniques.Supplemental InformationIdeal CandidateWe are looking for an enthusiastic coach who loves working with children and has the ability to motivate and inspire.
