Courtesy Patrol - Job Description Position Summary: The Courtesy Patrol is responsible for promoting a safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and property staff, This position conducts routine patrols, identifies and reports safety or security concerns, responds to disturbances, and provides customer service support after office hours, Courtesy Patrol team members observe and report and do not perform law enforcement duties and/or medical first aid administration, Key Responsibilities: Patrol & Observation Conduct scheduled and unscheduled foot or vehicle patrols of the property, Monitor video surveillance tools, common areas, parking lots, amenities, and entrances for safety concerns or rule violations, Deter suspicious or inappropriate activity through visible presence, Hourly Patrol of building hallways, stairwells, roof decks, and laundry facilities, Check for security hazards such as unlocked doors, broken lights, vandalism, or maintenance issues, Perform weekly exterior lighting inspections, General property and/or resident assistance as directed by Resident Manager and Facilities Lead, Incident Response    Respond to noise complaints, disturbances, and resident concerns, Document incidents according to company procedures and notify management or emergency services as appropriate, Assist in emergencies by guiding first responders to locations and communicating relevant details, Reporting & Documentation   Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and professionally, Submit all reports at the end of each shift in accordance with property reporting procedures administered by the Resident Manager and Facilities Lead, Relay after-hours emergencies immediately to on-call supervisor, The on-call supervisor will rotate weekly,  Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company safety protocols, as well as all rules and regulations outlined in this job description, Customer Service     Provide friendly, professional interaction with residents and guests, Offer assistance such as directions, escort requests, after hours lock-out requests, and/or provide general information, Promote community policies in a respectful, customer-focused manner, Assist management team with holiday and seasonal decorating activities and support exterior building lighting procedures in accordance with established guidelines, Qualifications:        High school diploma or equivalent (preferred), Previous experience in security, customer service, or property management is a plus, Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts, Valid driver’s license (if vehicle patrol is required), Must pass background screening as required by employer, Working Conditions:       Outdoor and indoor patrols in varying weather conditions, Uniforms will be provided and must be properly laundered, Courtesy Patrol personnel are required to be well-groomed and professionally attired while on duty, Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required, Employees are provided a 3O-minute unpaid meal period per 8-hour shift and a 15- minute paid break after each 4-hour shift, Use of company-provided communication devices and patrol equipment, Completion of online safety and conflict-resolution training, with passing scores, is required within the 9O-day probationary period, Pay: From $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
