Tax Accountant | Onsite Aprio is partnering with a growing boutique accounting and advisory firm to find a motivated Tax Accountant ready to grow into a leadership role. The firm serves a diverse client base including S Corps, C Corps, Trusts, high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, real estate investors, and entertainment professionals.What You'll Be DoingPrepare complex Individual, Partnership, and corporate tax returnsHandle miscellaneous business filings including property tax, city business tax, and sales taxReview client financials and provide guidance on bookkeeping correctionsManage tax engagements including client communications and information gatheringResearch complex tax issues and make compliance recommendationsCollaborate across teams to support firm initiativesWhat We're Looking ForCPA licensed or all sections passed (required)3+ years of tax experience in public accountingExperience with CCH Axcess Tax or CCH Engagement (strongly preferred)QuickBooks or Quicken experience a plusDetail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlinesStrong communicator with a take-initiative mindsetBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
