Sensor Application Engineer

This individual assigned to this role will be responsible for the execution of the following tasks at our client location: Installation methods, i.e. defining routing schemes as well as coordination/interfacing with various Component Centers for requirements, access, and installation of sensors on rotating or static hardware Develop design models and drawings with drafting support to fabricate hardware Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines Develop design solutions that meet requirements Communicate design definition and results to internal customers and coordinate acceptance with Integrate Product Team Leaders Document results via Design Substantiation Memos and layout drawings Must be able to read and understand technical drawings, understand basic engineering principles, test techniques, process flow, and instrumentation principles Sensor Applications experience highly preferred Experience in development of gas turbine engines Co-op experience or Senior Design project will be considered a plus 0-2 years' experience with appropriate skill set Strong communication skills both written and verbal US Citizen Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent strongly preferred Associates degree in related technical field < 10% (1) rotational 1st Shift and 2nd shift position Full-Time MIddletown, CtSkills RequiredCommunicationLocationMiddletown, Connecticut, United States of AmericaDesirable SkillsCommunicationDesignationAssociate
