Sales Executive (Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC)

Location: Northern California Employment Type: Full-Time Classification: Exempt (Salary + Commission) Work Schedule: Hybrid / Remote with regional travel Pay Range: $100,000 base salary + commission (Total Comp $120,000–$200,000+ OTE) Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to lead outside sales efforts across Northern California within our commercial refrigeration and HVAC division. This hybrid/remote position is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing regional sales strategy.The ideal candidate brings a minimum of five (5) years of business-to-business sales experience within the commercial refrigeration and HVAC industry. This individual must be self-motivated, relationship-oriented, and experienced in managing full-cycle sales processes, while leveraging CRM systems to drive pipeline visibility and performance tracking. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute regional sales strategies to drive commercial HVAC and refrigeration growthIdentify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the commercial sectorMaintain and expand relationships with contractors, property managers, developers, and commercial clientsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closeMeet or exceed established sales targets and revenue goalsUtilize CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, forecasting, and customer engagementPrepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposalsConduct site visits and client meetings throughout Northern CaliforniaCollaborate with internal operations and service teams to ensure seamless project executionProvide leadership and mentorship within the sales function as needed Minimum QualificationsMinimum 5 years of outside B2B sales experience in commercial refrigeration and/or HVACProven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targetsStrong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and service agreementsExperience using CRM software for pipeline management and reportingExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to travel throughout Northern CaliforniaValid driver’s license with clean driving record Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role operates in a hybrid/remote capacity with frequent travel throughout Northern California for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities. Pay Transparency & Benefits DisclosureIn compliance with California law, the base pay range for this position is $100,000 annually. Total compensation is performance-based and may range from $100,000 to $200,000+ annually depending on sales results.
