This role requires a combination of technical skills, including blueprint reading, CNC programming, and machine operation, as well as attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. This position is an Individual Contributor role. The role directly reports to the Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesSetup and Programming: Prepare the burn table for production runs by selecting the correct programs, setting up torches, and ensuring proper alignment of materials. Operation: Safely operate the CNC burn table, monitoring the cutting process and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the burn table, often using overhead cranes or forklifts. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, remove burrs and slag, and ensure they meet specified quality standards. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the burn table to ensure optimal performance. Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols related to operating the burn table and handling materials. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material specifications and quality checks.Ensure all operations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area, and housekeeping standards.
