This corporate-based role reports to the CFO and Treasurer and leads a team of six professionals focused on compliance, reporting, and operational execution.If you bring strong insurance expertise — or a deep accounting background with statutory reporting experience — this is an opportunity to step into a stable, well-established organization where your knowledge truly matters.What You’ll OwnIn this role, you will oversee the structure, compliance, and day-to-day management of corporate insurance programs and credit insurance operations.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and developing a team supporting credit insurance and ancillary productsManaging all corporate insurance programs (excluding employee benefits)Evaluating coverage needs and negotiating terms with insurance providersOverseeing renewals, certificates, premium payments, and claims reportingMaking final determinations on escalated credit insurance claimsOverseeing GAAP and statutory ledger activity for affiliated insurance entitiesPreparing and submitting quarterly and annual NAIC statementsManaging premium tax filings, regulatory reporting, and insurance examinationsMonitoring regulatory updates and ensuring operational complianceSupporting development and implementation of new credit insurance productsThis is a hands-on leadership role requiring attention to detail, regulatory confidence, and strong financial oversight.What You BringWe’re looking for a professional who understands the regulatory and financial complexities of insurance operations and can confidently manage compliance and reporting responsibilities.Preferred Background:10+ years in insurance industry experience, OR a deep accounting background OR accounting with statutory reporting experienceStrong knowledge of corporate insurance policies and credit insurance productsExperience with regulatory filings, NAIC reporting, and insurance complianceAbility to obtain and maintain South Carolina insurance licensingWe will also consider candidates with:A strong accounting background with statutory financial reporting experienceDeep understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting frameworksExperience interpreting and applying financial regulationsAdditionally, you should have:Leadership experience managing and developing a teamStrong Excel and financial systems proficiencyAnalytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to maintain strong working relationships with vendors, regulators, and internal stakeholdersWhy Security Finance?Security Finance has been a trusted name in consumer financial services since 1955.
