AI Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Serve as a technical leader and strategic architect for enterprise data solutions.• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using modern software engineering best practices.• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers in an Agile/SAFe environment.• Translate requirements into working software solutions in collaboration with systems engineering and program teams.• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).• 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.• Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, or similar on a Linux-based system).• Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms.• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($87,100 - $157,450) plus potential for bonuses.• Opportunity to work on mission-critical software supporting national infrastructure.• A collaborative Agile/SAFe development environment.• Engage with cutting-edge AI tools to enhance software development processes.Apply via Haystack today!
