Registered Nurse - Charge Position SummaryProvides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.Essential Functions Additional InformationPatient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
