You'll Be:Fabricating and installing seat covers, curtains, and interior assembliesReading and interpreting engineering drawings and material specificationsSewing, assembling, and installing upholstery components to meet strict quality standardsCutting and installing custom aircraft carpets based on design patternsUsing systems like Corridor for material tracking, work orders, and documentationLeading or supporting projects, coordinating tasks, and assisting team membersConducting safety audits and maintaining compliance with 5S and safety programsMentoring and training less experienced technicians while ensuring productivity and qualitySupporting Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve processesThis Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Have:High School Diploma or GED4+ years of upholstery experience (including at least 2 years in aircraft upholstery) OR 6 years of commercial upholstery experienceAt least 12 years of sewing experienceAdvanced knowledge of upholstery processes, materials, and carpet installationAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safetyBasic computer skills and familiarity with tracking systemsAdditional Details:Location: Savannah, GA 31408Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM 12:30 AM) must be flexible for other shiftsPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spacesEmployment Type: 12-month contractWhat Happens NextOnce you apply, you'll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
