Contract Landman

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Contract Landman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing land acquisition and rights for various projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Negotiate and acquire oil & gas leases with property owners. Negotiate rights-of-way and easements. Research land and title records in the courthouse. Secure seismic permits and other agreements as needed. Maintain accurate records of land agreements, permits, and project documentation. Experience Proven experience as a contract landman is required. Familiarity with land title and curative is essential. Previous experience in rights-of-way/easements in Pennsylvania is a plus. Previous experience working on pipeline projects is desirable. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
