CNC Program Engineer

*Role: : CNC Program Engineer* *Location: Riverwoods, IL - Onsite* *Job Type : Fulltime and Permanent* *Job Summary:* We are Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong expertise in CNC machining, programming, machine setup, and customer support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Fanuc and Siemens control systems, CNC machine operations, CAD/CAM programming, and machining process optimization. This role also involves supporting customers and dealers with CNC applications, troubleshooting, and process improvements. *Key Responsibilities:* * Develop, optimize, and debug CNC machining programs for milling, turning, VMC, TC, and multi-axis machines. * Perform CNC machine setup, tooling setup, and machine operation using Fanuc and Siemens controls. * Support CNC machining processes including cutting theory, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds optimization. * Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify machining programs. * Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation, and machining process issues. * Provide technical support and application assistance to customers, dealers, and end users. * Assist with machine demonstrations, customer training, and process improvement activities. *Required Qualifications:* * 5+ Years of experience in Developing , Optimizing and Debugging CNC Machining Program. * Experience in CNC machine set up and operation specifically with Fanuc and siemens. * Hands-on experience in Control System programming such as Fanuc and Siemens and VMC, TC, and Multiaxis Machine operation capability. * Strong experience in CAD or CAM Software. * Strong experience in Cutting Theory, Tooling, and Machine Processes. * Hands on experience with customer (dealers and clients) support for CNC applications.
