Opportunity OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Locum Hospitalist to provide 7-on / 7-off coverage beginning March 31 or April 1. This is a rural hospital setting with a manageable census, onsite call accommodations, and Epic EMR. Assignment DetailsSchedule: 7 days on / 7 days offRotation: Tuesday MondayOrientation: March 30 or March 31Call:Alternating 24-hour call every other day/nightCall physician handles all ED admissions and floor callsCensus:Average daily census: 21 patients total2 hospitalists on at a timeApprox. patients per provider per dayICU:Open ICU (6 beds)Procedures preferred but not requiredHospitalists must read EKGs and perform stress testsSupport:No APP coverageOnsite call house availableEMR: Epic QualificationsBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Internal MedicineActive South Carolina Medical LicenseActive Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)DEA eligible for permanent registration in South Carolina Compensation & Benefits$200 $220 per hourWeekly payMalpractice insurance includedPaid travel and lodging
