MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The position is onsite.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToImplement and manage a comprehensive Information Assurance (IA) program as outlined in the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG)Collaborate across all project levels to integrate IA principles into IT/IM operationsPromote and embed IA methodologies across operations and developmental efforts, including proactive integration of IA controls into products in developmentSupport compliance with IA policies, documentation standards (e.g., Clinger-Cohen Act), and system security/integrity through audits and reviewsConduct announced and unannounced IA inspections and support external audits, including the development and documentation of corrective actionsContinuously analyze existing IA programs and processes, recommending refinements that align with operational and security needsCreate and maintain Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) for systems under RMF/JSIGProvide regular updates to the Program Manager and IT/IM lead on milestones, vulnerabilities, patches, and Designated Authorizing Official (DAO) directivesRecommend alternative POA&M solutions to minimize operational impacts while maintaining security posturesUp to 10% local travelMinimum Qualifications2+ years of experience in a Cyber Security roleDoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireExperience creating policy or procedure documentation in support of RMF packagesPreferred QualificationsExperience auditing or working in a Windows environmentPervious implementation of JSIG in a SAP environmentSplunk experienceNessus experienceClearance RequirementsUS Citizenship is required and an active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 yearsCandidate must be open to CI polyPhysical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the timeMust be able to move about inside the office and datacenter to access IT equipmentThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsMust be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy
