Business Development Representative (Remote)

Job Description GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Business Development Representative is a full-time, fully remote role focused on generating new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting efforts. This position serves as a critical entry point into the sales organization and works closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to build a strong, qualified sales pipeline.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels. The BDR will respond to inbound inquiries, assess prospect needs, and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives.This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a willingness to learn cybersecurity and compliance solutions. The BDR will maintain accurate records in the CRM and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and targeting strategies.DEFINING SUCCESSConsistently meeting or exceeding daily activity behaviors and meeting-set goalsGenerating high-quality, qualified sales opportunitiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM recordsDemonstrating a consultative and professional approach with prospectsCollaborating effectively with Sales and Marketing teamsDeveloping foundational sales skills through coaching and trainingDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe most critical attributes for success within our team are having interest in what we do; a willingness to learn; exceptional work ethic; a commitment to quality and success; strong writing and communication skills; personal accountability; and loyalty in the way he or she treats their relationships.
