If you enjoy leading from the front, working directly with clients, and building modern, integrated systems, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.We know you care about benefits and perks, so feel free to scroll down to that section, and then scroll back up to learn more about this role.What You'll DoLead Technical DeliveryLead the technical implementation of enterprise solutions across client engagementsGuide engineering teams through complex platform implementations and system integrationsTranslate architectural direction into practical technical designs and execution plansIdentify and resolve technical challenges throughout the implementation lifecycleEnsure solutions are delivered with quality, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityProvide Engineering LeadershipProvide day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship to development teamsEstablish and uphold development standards for code quality, testing, and documentationConduct code reviews and support engineers in solving complex technical problemsPartner with project leadership to align technical delivery with timelines and business goalsImplement and Integrate SystemsImplement and extend solutions on the Duck Creek platformDesign and develop integrations between policy administration systems and enterprise platformsBuild APIs, services, and supporting applications to enable solution deliveryDevelop custom components such as integrations, digital portals, and supporting servicesClient CollaborationWork directly with client technical teams, architects, and stakeholdersCommunicate technical progress, risks, and key design decisionsSupport integration of solutions within broader client technology ecosystemsSupport Engineering InnovationContribute to internal initiatives that enhance engineering practices and delivery capabilitiesHelp develop reusable components, accelerators, and engineering standardsExplore emerging technologies that improve developer productivity and solution deliveryWhat You'll Bring:Strong full-stack engineering experience delivering enterprise systems and integrationsHands-on experience implementing the Duck Creek platform and integrating with enterprise systemsProven experience leading development teams through complex implementationsExpertise designing and developing APIs and enterprise integrationsStrong development experience with C# and the .NET platformExperience working with cloud platforms such as AzureExperience integrating enterprise platforms with third-party systems and internal applicationsStrong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex challengesAbility to translate architectural vision into practical implementation approachesExperience working in client-facing or consulting environmentsInterest in modern engineering practices such as automation, AI-assisted development, and developer productivity toolsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise solutionsHands-on experience implementing the Duck Creek platformExperience implementing policy administration systems or other insurance platformsExperience designing and delivering enterprise system integrationsExperience working within Agile software development environmentsExperience in consulting, client delivery, or services-based environments preferredAdditional Requirements:Full-time position working primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (flexibility for after-hours work as needed)This position can be remote or based in Springfield, MO or San Juan, Puerto RicoAbility to travel as neededWhy Join NLS?
