Think of us as the travel buddy who handles the logistics while you focus on what you do best helping people heal.Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage and troubleshoot ventilators including Draeger and Servo I models to keep patients safely supportedPerform independent neonatal intubation and advanced airway management when requiredProvide ventilator weaning, high frequency oscillator and high frequency jet ventilator care as clinically indicatedDeliver aerosolized and inhaled therapies, set up nebulizers and MDIs, and ensure appropriate medication deliveryInterpret arterial blood gases and perform basic EKG interpretation to inform respiratory plansDocument thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to maintain continuity of careCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, pharmacy, radiology and rapid response to optimize patient outcomesFloat between campuses and adapt to varying patient loads while maintaining high-quality careQualificationsWashington state license required to applyRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) requiredRequired certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALSMinimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with NICU experience required (manager may waive PICU requirement)EPIC charting experience requiredAbility to independently intubate neonates and perform neonatal airway managementWillingness to float to other campuses and cover variable weekendsKnowledge & SkillsVentilator management: BiPAP, CPAP, high frequency oscillator, high frequency jet ventilator, Draeger, Servo IAirway management: intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care, nasal/oral airway placement and suctioningNeonatal/pediatric respiratory procedures including umb blood gases, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAPMedication administration and delivery systems: nebulizers, MDIs, medihaler, trach aerosol setupsHigh Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and oxygen therapyABG interpretation and basic EKG skillsFamiliarity with NIV, NAVA and pulmonary function testing (preferred)BenefitsGenerous housing stipend and travel reimbursement to help you settle in quicklyMedical, Dental & Vision coverage to keep you healthy and focused on patientsLicensure assistance and reimbursement so paperwork isn't a headachePaid time off to recharge and come back ready to do great work401K retirement savings options and life insurance for peace of mindReferral bonus program so you can invite great teammates and be rewardedA supportive team that values YOU, with interdisciplinary support including PT, pharmacy and rapid responseEPIC training and professional development opportunities to grow your careerTravel Perks: Explore Seattle, WAExplore Seattle's legendary waterfront and Pike Place Market, snap photos at the Space Needle, and enjoy museums like MoPOP and the Seattle Art Museum.
