Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description Title: Warehouse Supervisor Immediate Supervisor: Operations Manager, VP, Owner Position: Exempt General Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing all processes and pieces relating to the maintenance and distribution all necessary equipment and fleet at designated warehouse location. Principal duties and Responsibilities: Oversee handling and maintenance of receiving, warehousing and distribution operations Conducts physical equipment and fleet counts and reconciles with data storage system Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements Produce reports and statistics regarding all equipment as requested Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation Represents company and provides information and assistance to internal and external customers and represents facility in management functions. Oversees a wide range of warehouse duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. Responsible for zero asset losses. Ensures all necessary losses, damage and information is communicated timely to meet the expectations of the customer and company. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma Excellent communication skills Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Leadership skills and ability manage staff (This is not a complete listing of all duties and responsibilities.
