Senior EstimatorOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for complex general contracting projects. This is a fully onsite position for a seasoned professional who can both prepare accurate, competitive estimates and provide leadership to other estimators on the team.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in general contracting estimating, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines without letting anything fall through the cracks. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to play a key role in project success from the earliest stages.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete project pricingLead and oversee estimating efforts for multiple projects at one timeMentor, guide, and support junior estimators and other team membersSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bidsAnalyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costsIdentify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategiesCollaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams during preconstructionParticipate in bid reviews, proposal development, and client presentations as neededEnsure all estimates are completed on time and align with project requirementsMaintain strong knowledge of market pricing, construction methods, and industry trendsQualifications / RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of estimating experience within general contractingAt least 4 years of experience as a Senior Estimator or in a lead estimating role overseeing othersStrong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and project sequencingProven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documentsExperience preparing conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimatesStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop othersExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work effectively under deadlinesProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work full-time onsiteNo relocation assistance providedCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: $120,000 - $140,0003 weeks PTO8 paid holidays
